dear lastobelus,

playing 35 LPM for millions is indeed incredible. Nice work. But I play the game the way I do, you play it yours. No need for conflict. Come to Razzle Dazzle some time and play with us. My handle is ««¢rø§§få∂e»RG»

hope to see you,
Jorden

@Razz: I dunno. I push the big red button in my brain labeled "consider x cheating". I never said YOU should consider it or that other people should consider it cheating, I merely said that I consider it cheating.

@mantis_cr: I have a +5 million finally (hrrgmek, over 30lpm), but the score I like best is the 3.5 million at 35.3 lpm (haldrrn). This is the 3rd highest lpm in the top 100, and lemon is obviously bogus. As far as I can see you can't play millions at even 30 lpm.

beat:

If either the TGM_randomizer or bag logic were employed, the top speed would have to be increased by a lot, or the high score list would become even more meaningless than having undo makes it.

Here's a new one on me:

Upon joining a game in progress on a server, my chat drawer is closed (even though I always keep it open) and the board background is white (even though I use a custom background).

If there is no game in progress, the chat drawer is open upon joining and my custom background shows.

Anyone else experiencing this?

Hi,

first of all: Great game. I've been around for a long time and I've seen a huge amount of Tetris clones during the years for all kinds of platforms. Quinn definately is one of the best adaptions of the game's main principle I've seen so far.

The only thing I'd like to request is an option to change the resolution. Because the game is extremely small on my screen. I understand that it'll be difficult because all of the graphics are 2D, still it's sometimes very difficult to play because it's just a little tiny.

Hi,

I'm getting strange glitches in the animation of some pieces. This happens when rotating the pieces, and mainly with the T and L shapes.  The piece will rotate as expected, but then when it is redrawn (one line lower and to re-orient the shading of the squares) it is redrawn in its previous (pre-rotation) orientation.

Sometimes I even get individual squares left behind in the trail of the falling piece, which disappear when the next falling piece reaches that position.

I used previous versions of Quinn and never had this issue.  I hope this description is clear – if not I'll have to figure out a way to make a little screen capture to illustrate.

I'm using Quinn in stand-alone mode (no network access).

Let me know if you need to know my settings or system specs, etc.

Thanks and cheers for Quinn!
